체크인 관련 Check-in

Q.  체크인 시 무엇을 받게 되나요? What will I receive during check-in?  

출석체크용 아이디카드(자원봉사자 이름, 번호, 포지션 등이 기재되어 있음), 티셔츠 등의 굿즈가 제공됩니다. You will be provided with an ID card for attendance check including the volunteer's name, number, position, etc.) and merchandise such as a t-shirt. 

Q.  체크인은 언제 해야 하나요? When should I check in? 

• 목요일 오후 14시 경 부터 약 18시 전까지 얼리 체크인이 진행됩니다. 이 때 미리 체크인을 해두면 매우 좋습니다. Early check-in is available on Thursday from around 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM. We highly recommend checking in during this time.  
• 금요일 오전 6시부터 약 7시 20분 경 까지 마지막 체크인이 진행되며, 이후에는 체크인이 공식적으로 종료됩니다. Final check-in is on Friday from 6:00 AM to around 7:20 AM. After that, official check-in will be closed. 
• 토요일, 일요일에는 체크인이 불가합니다. (즉 자원봉사자는 대회 기간 내내 참여해야 합니다) Check-in is not available on Saturday or Sunday. (All volunteers are expected to participate for the full event period.)

면책동의서(Waiver, 웨이버)란?

• A waiver is a document in which you acknowledge potential risks during your activity, 활동 중 발생할 수 있는 사고나 위험에 대해 스스로 인지하고,
• and agree not to hold the organizers responsible for any accidents or issues that may occur. 그에 따른 책임을 주최 측에 묻지 않겠다는 내용에 동의하는 문서입니다.

Why do we have to sign to the waiver?

• At the heart of it all are our volunteers✨ your work plays a vital role in the success and smooth operation of the event. 그 중심에는 바로 자원봉사자 여러분✨ 이 있으며, 여러분의 활동은 대회의 운영과 성공에 없어서는 안 될 중요한 역할을 합니다.
• Volunteering on-site may include physically active tasks such as moving equipment, managing crowds, or assisting on the competition floor, and sometimes unexpected situations. 현장에서의 자원봉사 활동은 때때로 장비 이동, 인원 통제, 경기장 내 보조 등 신체적인 활동과 예기치 못한 상황을 동반할 수 있습니다.

1️⃣ Volunteering is your primary role, not spectating.

2️⃣ All volunteers are part of the event team. Follow your lead’s instructions and act responsibly.

3️⃣ No phone use in the main competition area. No selfies or videos with athletes during workouts.

4️⃣ If you're in uniform, watch only from designated areas. In casual clothes, you may spectate freely.

1️⃣ 우리는 자원봉사자 활동을 위해 모였으며, 관람이 메인이 아닙니다.

2️⃣ 자원봉사자는 대회의 일원입니다. 각 포지션 리드의 지시에 따라 책임감을 갖고 활동해주세요.

3️⃣ 메인 경기장 내 휴대폰 사용은 금지입니다. 경기가 진행되는 필드 내에서 선수와의 셀카, 영상 촬영 등 개인적인 사용은 삼가주세요.

4️⃣ 유니폼 착용 시, 지정된 구역에서만 경기를 관람해주세요. 사복 착용 시 관람은 자유지만, 유니폼 착용 상태에서는 일반 관람석(입석 및 좌석)을 이용하지 말아주세요.

Why is attendance tracking important?

• Attendance is recorded daily to prevent no-shows, late arrivals, or unreported absences during volunteer shifts. (무단 결석, 지각, 이탈 등의 문제 방지)Please submit your card to your position's Attendance Manager during daily briefings. 
• These records may be used for future volunteer selection and operational review. (해당 데이터는 향후 자원봉사자 선정 및 운영 개선에도 활용)

How does the attendance process work?

(출석 체크는 어떻게 하나요?)

[Gear Crews, Translators/Interpreters, Scoring Assistants Protocol]

1. All volunteers receive an ID card at check-in. The card includes your name, volunteer ID, and assigned role.

-모든 자원봉사자는 이름, 역할, Volunteer ID가 기재된 ID 카드를 체크인 시 수령합니다.  

2. Please submit your card to your position's Attendance Manager during daily briefings.

-매일 아침 브리핑 시간에, 포지션별 Attendance Manager 에게 카드를 제출합니다. 

3. If you miss the briefing (e.g. late arrival), you must drop by the office and submit your card directly to the FET staff(Operation Lead).

-브리핑에 참석하지 못한 경우(지각 등)에는, 오피스에 들러 직접 오퍼레이션 리드에게 ID 카드를 제출해야 합니다. 

4. Failure to submit your card may result in your attendance not being recorded. 

-카드를 제출하지 않을 경우, 출석으로 인정되지 않을 수 있습니다.  

5. At the end of the day, you must retrieve your ID card during the wrap-up meeting. 

-하루 일과가 끝난 후, Wrap-up 미팅 시간에 반드시 본인의 ID 카드를 다시 수령해야 합니다. 

6. Your attendance will only be recognized if you return your card in the morning and pick it up again at the end of the day. 

-출석은 아침에 카드를 제출하고, 퇴근 시 다시 카드를 받아야 최종 인정됩니다.
