This role is responsible for enforcing movements standards, accurate rep count, and finish time. Judging will be your primary responsibility, however, you may also be asked to fulfill other duties. Please note that completion of the 2022 CrossFit online Judges Course prior to the event is mandatory.

Translator
/Interpreter (closed)

This role supports communication for FET Team and Athletes who have difficulty to understand certain issues during the semi-final and event because of language barrier. (You will not only support communication but also support FET team on the site in various topics.)
We are looking for volunteer translators(Interpreters) in two working languages: English-Korean, English-Russian or Korean-Russian.

Medical (closed)

This role need to be certified in CPR and/or First Aid.
Medical staff is responsible for enforcing medical support.

Gear Crew (closed)

This role directs all competition equipment including gear changes between workouts, equipment transfer.

Operation (closed)

This role assists our staff with volunteer check-in, workshops, sponsors, hospitality and special assignments.

Gear Crews & Operations

This role involves setting up, taking apart, and moving equipment used for the event. Depending on the situation, tasks like working at the ticket booth and managing spectators at the front gate might also be part of the job. Additionally, you may also be responsible for various tasks necessary for the smooth operation both inside and outside the stadium, such as managing seating zone.

대회 진행을 위해 사용되는 장비 설치, 해체, 이동 등의 작업을 도맡아 합니다. 외에도 상황에 따라 티켓 부스, 경기장 내 출입관리와 같은 메인게이트 입장 관리를 진행하게 될 수 있습니다. 경기장 내에서의 좌석 통제 및 미디어 정책에 따른 통제 등을 맡아, 경기장 내외부에서 원활한 대회 운영에 필요한 전반적인 업무를 담당합니다.

Scoring Coordinator

The scoring coordinator delivers scorecards to the Judges’ area before each heat and ensures they are collected promptly after the heat ends to be handed to the scoring manager. They are also responsible for tasks such as preparing and distributing scoring examples for each heat, storing and organizing scorecards, and assisting the scoring manager with tasks like score calculation and verifying leaderboard accuracy.

스코어링 코디네이터는 각 히트가 진행되기 이전에, 저지 대기 영역에 스코어 카드를 전달하고 히트 종료 후에는 카드를 빠짐없이 수집하여 스코어링 매니저에게 전달합니다. 원활한 카드 관리 및 점수 집계를 위해 각 히트별 스코어링 예시 작성 및 배포, 카드 보관, 정리 등의 업무도 담당합니다. 외에도 스코어링 매니저를 돕기 위해 점수 계산, 리더보드 오류 확인 등 다양한 업무를 수행합니다.

Translators/Interpreters

Facilitate effective communication between athletes and the operational team, including judges. Conduct sequential interpretation during pre-competition briefings. Prefer candidates with familiarity in CrossFit movements and rules, along with experience in sequential interpretation. Assist in writing appeals for athletes, providing support to the Appeals Manager as needed.

운동 선수와 Far East Throwdown 운영 팀간의 효과적인 소통을 돕는 역할입니다. 매일 오전에 진행하는 선수 대상 브리핑(Athletes Briefings)에서 동시 통역을 담당해야하기에, 크로스핏에서 수행하는 동작과 규칙을 잘 이해하고 있어야 합니다. 선수들이 이의제기 양식(Appeal form)을 작성할 때에, 어필 매니저(Appeals Manager) 에게 필요한 지원을 제공합니다. 업무 특성상 동시 통역 경험이 있다면 무척 도움이 됩니다.

*저지 지원자의 경우, 이벤트 전에 2024년 크로스핏 온라인 심사 과정을 이수해야 합니다.

저지는 각 히트별로 투입되어 선수들이 정확히 동작 수행 기준을 만족하는지, 정확한 동작으로 반복 횟수(rep)을 채우는지 등을 주의깊게 관찰하고 기록하는 역할입니다. 주로 선수들의 운동 수행과 관련된 부분을 담당하지만, 때에 따라 이와 관련된 다른 업무를 수행할 수도 있습니다.

Senior Judges

If you have experience participating in the last year(or more), you may be assigned as a 'Judge Group' under the judgment of the Head Judge. You assist in controlling the group members and facilitating smooth communication between the Head Judge and each group. Additionally, you help identify specific instructions for each heat according to the Head Judge's directives to ensure the overall smooth operation of the judging group.

여러 번 저지에 참여한 경험이 있는 경우, 헤드 저지의 판단 하에 ‘저지 그룹 리더' 를 담당하게 될 수 있습니다. 그룹 내에서의 인원 통제 및 헤드 저지와 각 그룹간의 원활한 의사소통을 돕습니다. 그 외에도 헤드 저지의 지시에 따라 각 히트별 주의사항을 파악하여, 전체 저지 그룹이 원활하게 운영될 수 있도록 돕습니다.
